One of Alsace’s most prestigious Grands Crus
The Kitterlé Grand Cru covers 25 hectares above Guebwiller, on volcanic soils that are unique to Alsace. It mainly produces Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Muscat.
Its wines are renowned for their minerality, their structure and their exceptional ageing potential (20–30 years for the finest vintages).
The terroir of Domaines Schlumberger
Most of the vineyards are managed by Domaines Schlumberger, one of Alsace’s largest wine producers. Tours of the estate and tastings are available by appointment. The view of the Alsace plain from the summit of the Kitterlé is spectacular.
