A monastic settlement at the foot of the Vosges
Guebwiller, a sub-prefecture of the Haut-Rhin, is a formerly prosperous town whose centre boasts a remarkable heritage. Three major churches encapsulate its history: Saint-Léger (Romanesque, 12th century), Notre-Dame (Gothic, 15th century) and the Dominican Church (converted into a concert hall, hosting the International Music Festival).
The Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, in the heart of the town, is lined with beautiful half-timbered houses and 16th-century buildings. A 5-minute walk from the hotel.

A morning is all it takes to explore the town centre: take a stroll around the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, visit the Dominican Church with its exceptional acoustics, and pop into one of our artisan bakeries for the famous kougelhopf.
The Florival Tourist Office, 300 metres from the hotel, offers maps and themed guided tours.
