A life-size glimpse of Alsace as it once was
The Alsace Ecomuseum in Ungersheim is the largest open-air museum in France. More than 70 traditional Alsatian houses have been dismantled in the region and reassembled on the site, creating a real, living village. Farm animals, craft workshops and activities featuring people in traditional costume.
Ideal for families
The eco-museum is particularly popular with families. Allow a full day to see everything properly. Food and drink available on site. Special events depending on the season (Christmas, Easter, traditional festivals).
